Tracie Meyer, MSN, AG-ACNP
ADHD Specialist Integrating Medical Care and Coaching
Tracie Meyer, MSN, AG-ACNP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in the evaluation and treatment of ADHD in adolescents and adults. She integrates evidence-based medical care with ADHD coaching and executive function support to provide comprehensive, functional treatment. In addition to her clinical work, Tracie serves as a consultant, public speaker, and educator, partnering with local school districts, mental health and sensory-disorder therapy practices, and healthcare providers to expand access to high-quality ADHD care and practical executive function strategies.
Tracie brings over 20 years of healthcare experience to her practice, including more than 15 years in Internal Medicine, where she developed extensive expertise in managing complex medical conditions and advanced pharmacologic treatment. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked for nine years as a registered nurse in both the Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Department, caring for patients with acute medical and psychiatric presentations in collaboration with inpatient psychiatry and community mental health services.
Her commitment to ADHD care is deeply personal. As a parent of two sons with ADHD, Tracie experienced firsthand the challenges families face navigating pediatric care, psychological evaluations, therapy services, and educational systems. This journey ultimately led to her own late-in-life ADHD diagnosis and reinforced the need for clinicians with specialized expertise who understand both the clinical and real-world impact of ADHD.
Recognizing significant gaps in formal medical and advanced practice nursing education related to ADHD, Tracie pursued extensive advanced training to develop specialty-level expertise. She has completed over 1,000 hours of continuing education focused on ADHD assessment and treatment, earned ADHD Specialist certification through PESI, and completed specialized training with WatersEdge Psychiatry in Dallas, Texas.
In addition to her medical practice, Tracie offers non-medical cognitive and academic assessments for children, adolescents, and young adults ages 8–21. These evaluations are designed to help parents and students better understand learning profiles, screen for potential learning disabilities, identify giftedness, and guide academic planning and executive function support. This service allows families to take ADHD care one step further by addressing how attention, cognition, and learning intersect in real-world academic settings.
Grounded in both advanced clinical training and lived experience, Tracie’s approach is strength-based, evidence-driven, and individualized. Her work utilizes gold-standard assessment practices and comprehensive treatment strategies that extend beyond medication management to include ADHD coaching, executive function skill development, and academic support planning.
Tracie is dedicated to helping individuals and families gain clarity, confidence, and sustainable support throughout their ADHD journey. ADHD Life Medical Associates is located in the greater Indianapolis area and provides medical management for adolescents and adults whose primary residence is in Indiana. Cognitive assessment, consulting, coaching, and educational support services are available nationwide.
