ADHD Evaluation & Medical Management for Adults & Teens in Indiana

If you're looking for clear answers, whether that's an ADHD diagnosis or a new provider to continue medication management you're already on, this is where that starts.

Every patient begins with the same signature Performance & Cognitive Assessment, then moves into one of two appointment paths depending on what you need.

How the Process Works

ADHD brains often do better breaking things into steps to avoid decision fatigue, so we split the process into two appointments, each one focused on what it's actually for: objective data first, then clinical decision-making and treatment planning.

Appointment 1 (Virtual): Performance & Cognitive Assessment — $350

  • Start with taking a cognitive assessment from the comfort of your own home that provides objective, data-driven insight into attention, memory, processing and more, supporting a more accurate, personalized evaluation. For teens, this includes access to an award winning learning platform with personalized, research-based strategies to use in school personalized to their cognitive assessment.

  • Before this appointment, we'll ask you to complete key forms (including questionnaires and consents) so your visit is as useful as possible. Then you will meet with your specialist virtually for 45 minutes to review results.

Appointment 2 (In Person): Choose Your Path — $350

Once your assessment results are in, your second appointment goes one of two directions:

  • Full ADHD Evaluation For patients seeking a new diagnosis. A clinical evaluation building on your prior assessment results, ending with a clear diagnostic impression (ADHD vs. other possible explanations) and personalized treatment recommendations, which may include behavioral strategies, coaching, and/or medication options when appropriate.

  • Assume Care for an Existing Diagnosis For patients who already have an ADHD diagnosis and want to establish medication management with our practice. We'll review your diagnosis and treatment history alongside your assessment results and take over care going forward. Medical records confirming diagnosis are required.

Already Completed a Neuropsychological Evaluation?

If you've completed a full neuropsychological evaluation within the last 2 years and can provide us with those records, you can choose to forego our Performance & Cognitive Assessment and skip straight to Appointment 2.

Please notify our office before registering so we can waive the first appointment and avoid charging you for it. A few things to know:

  • There are no refunds once cognitive testing has been assigned to you, so this route only works if you notify us before registering.

  • If you skip Appointment 1, your teen will not have access to our interactive learning platform, since that access is tied to completing the Performance & Cognitive Assessment.

Who You’ll Work With

Tracie Meyer, AG-ACNP

My Why — I spent years outworking a system that wasn’t built for how my brain works — through school, nursing, and twenty years in medicine — before finally understanding my own ADHD, after watching my sons navigate many of the same challenges. I was lucky. Not everyone gets answers that easily, and it shouldn’t be this hard.

Too often, ADHD care focuses on identifying the problem without helping people understand what comes next. I built ADHD Life Medical Associates for the kid still figuring it out and the adult still pushing through — connecting the dots between how you think, learn, function, and perform. Because understanding your brain is only the beginning. Knowing what to do with that information can change everything.

Insurance & Payment

We know cost is a real part of this decision. We're a private practice and do not accept insurance, in part because many insurance plans don't cover these services well, if at all, so private pay lets us focus on your care instead of what a particular plan will approve. Many patients are able to use HSA or FSA funds toward these appointments, though eligibility depends on your individual plan, so it's worth checking with your benefits administrator beforehand.
